Cinquante ans plus tard, le fondateur a imposé son patronyme sur les tables du monde entier. Ce nom s'identifie aujourd'hui au beaujolais nouveau, qu'il propulse en fanfare, chaque troisième jeudi de novembre, mais aussi aux crus du Beaujolais comme du Mâconnais.
